Precis of Quaternary Essays
The first Essay in this Volume, How to Use the Nature Template, considers a number of ways to apply the Nature template to resolve nine philosophical/psychological conundrums generated by the apologetic tradition in Tertiary pedagogy. The conundrums arise when Tertiary attempts to account for or excuse inconsistencies and outright prejudices of the type represented by the God template. The Essay examines the typical Tertiary apologetic confusions about Philosophy versus Psychology, Nature versus God, Sexual versus Erotic, Technocratic mindsets, Christ the Carpenter, Non-linear and Linear, Fact versus Fiction, Sex versus Gender. The Essay concludes the analysis by itemising the many reverse psychological techniques Shakespeare uses to dissemble and remedy the above self-induced paroxysms. Then follows an Essay titled From Male to Female: Where the Default Lies that demonstrates the importance of accepting the originary status of the female as germane to all sexual species – including homo sapiens. The female-based status of all sexual species is particularly evident in the biological fact only the female of any sexual species from simple cellular organisms to sharks and lizards can self-replicate through parthenogenesis. Moreover, as all male-based myths acknowledge the default biological dynamic by offering pseudo replication through their constitutional eroticism, the acceptance of the natural relationship would lead to greater peace and contentedness. The Essay titled Shakespeare and Democracy argues Shakespeare's nature-based female-validating philosophy is constitutionally democratic. Shakespeare's Sonnet philosophy, and particularly its application in the thirty-six plays in the 1623 Folio, counters and excoriates the patriarchal, autocratic misogynistic consequence of traditional male-based mind-based beliefs. Then follows a group of five Essays that consider the Quaternary implications of Shakespeare's nature-based philosophy for Tertiary Academia and its history of apologetics. The Creative University, Criteria for Quaternary, Quaternary Pedagogy, and Upgrading from Tertiary to Quaternary, were written in response to issues raised by Tertiary academics. Tertiary's inadequacy in its abject failure over the last 400 years to apprehend and understand Shakespeare's nature-based philosophy means only the institution of a Quaternary level of universal pedagogy can effectively supersede and obviate the Tertiary mind-set. Only a Quaternary level of understanding can provide an education for a Global constituency constantly conscious humans are a nature-based species despite them imagining otherwise.
